What is your return/exchange policy for candles?
Send us an email at michelle@misslong.co.za within 24hours of receiving your order. If the product is in its original condition, you’re good to go. Return the item, and we’ll promptly offer a refund on your payment. Kindly note that return shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

How should I safely burn and care for my candle?
We want your candle experience to be nothing short of magical.
Follow these five simple tips to make the most of your candles:
- Trim the Wick: Before lighting your candle, ensure the wick is trimmed to just under 1 cm. This not only extends the burn time but also prevents any unsightly oozing.
- Extinguish with Care: When it’s time to bid farewell to the warm glow, gently dip the wick into the liquid wax. This little trick prevents smoke and makes relighting a breeze for your next candlelit moment.
- Avoid Drafts: Never place your candle in a drafty area. This can lead to uneven burning, running, or both. Keep it steady, and your candle will reward you with a beautiful, even glow.
- Store: Store candles in a cool, dry place to avoid colour fading, melting or cracking.
- To Clean: Gently rub candles with a piece of nylon or soft cloth to restore their natural shine.
- Choose the Right Holder: Enhance both safety and aesthetics by selecting holders specifically designed for your candle style. The right holder not only complements the design but also ensures a secure base for your candle, preventing accidental spills.
How long does delivery take?
Orders will be processed within 2-3 business days of purchasing. Candles will typically reach main city centres within 2-5 business days.
If you reside in outlying areas, please allow an additional 1-2 working days to arrive.

What are the burn times for your candles?
Burn time for our 35cm candles is approx. 15hours and 20 hours for our 45cm candles. Placing your candle in a drafty area can cause your candle to burn much quicker and uneven.
What makes your imported candles unique?
Our candles are smokeless, and drip-free and crafted from the finest high-quality raw materials sourced from Europe. Each dinner candle is a masterpiece, completely coloured throughout, setting them apart from others in the market that are merely dipped on the exterior.
